Turmeric milk latte

Ingredients

1 cup of unsweetened milk - I use coconut

1 x 3cm piece of fresh turmeric - peeled

1 x 3cm piece of fresh ginger - peeled

1/2  tablespoon maple syrup

1 teaspoon ground cinnamon

1/4 teaspoon ground cardamon (optional)

1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract

1 tablespoon coconut oil (optional)

Pinch of salt

Pinch of black pepper

Directions

Place all ingredients in a blender

Blend well until combined

Slowly heat in a saucepan on a low heat until warm enough to sip

Dust with either ground cinnamon or ground turmeric on top

This keeps well in the fridge for 2-3 days.  I always make a double batch and keep it in the fridge to enjoy this delicious nourishing drink daily x
